You will notice the work being done with Building 400 (old MPA/Culinary Kitchen). It was designed to give our students and the community a hotel-quality facility in the heart of our island, complemented by GCC’s award-winning culinary program. The new MPA is a facility you will be proud of. You will also notice the brand-new Multipurpose Auditorium (Building 300), between Building E and the old MPA/Culinary kitchen. It is a comfortable covered outdoor space to study and socialize with your fellow students. The brand-new Student Canopy in the courtyard of the Student Center was designed and built with you in mind. In fact, you will see some new additions this academic year. I am proud to say that our campus is fully open for classes and activities. As our island and community enter a period of recovery and restoration, your commitment to continue your education speaks highly of your determination to make your life and our island even better and stronger.
